I depends what you're looking for in a "standard lens".

Is it mostly IQ? Is it mostly convenience? (ie. range) ? Is it a combination?

I personally bought the 24-120 f/4 and find it to be a great walk around lens. Fantastic range and great IQ when stopped down a bit while still being perfectly usable wide-open.

I didn't consider any of the 24/28-70/75 because I find the range too short.

I tend to carry a 20mm for wide-angle shots, the 24-120 as walk around, a 50 1.8 for DOF and a Tamron 90 for macro work.  Fairly light and cheap setup while being very convenient (sure, I'm lacking long lenses..).
