Is it normal that different light formers have different color temperatures?

Re: Is it normal that different light formers have different color temperatures?

Hi Peter,

The temperature should be below the pure light? Are you sure? The beauty dish is pretty much the same as the pure standard reflector light, so that's ok. The pure CT is officially 5400-5800°, yes that's a wide area, but in practice it's always been 5600-5700.

Yeah, the temperature is what Aperture shows me if I use the eyedropper tool to adjust WB on a gray card image (RAW, of course).

Best,

Chris
