Photoshop Elements 9 or 11 ACR

I just started shooting in RAW a couple of months ago and I have been using the Adobe Camera Raw version contained within Elements 9 to process my files.  I have been pleased with the results that have gotten better as I have become more comfortable with the program.  I just downloaded the trial version of Elements 11 so I could try the newer ACR version to see if it was better than the ACR in Elements 9.  Apart from them changing a couple of sliders such as adding a White slider and getting rid of the fill light slider, I couldn't see many differences.  I tried processing the same RAW file in Elements 9 and Elements 11 and did not see any improvement in in the final resut from 11. The reason I compared them was because I was thinking of purchasing Elements 11 if it was a better program as Costco has it on sale at the moment for $49.99, which is $30 off their regular price.

I rarely use any of the other editing or creative functions of Elements, so I am not seeing a reason to upgrade, unless there is something else that is better about ACR in 11 that I am missing.  As I am fairly inexperienced at using ACR I was wondering if anyone else has any experience with comparing ACR in Elements 9 and 11, and has any input as to whether it would be worth upgrading?

On a side note, I tried ACR in Lightroom 4 and it obviously has a lot more control over RAW processing than Elements, but I found it slightly overwhelming.  It might be something I will revisit in the future as I become more experienced.
