How do I activate a light metering bar <------o-------> on top of the camera?

My very first use of this website.

I have a D7000 coming from D300s

I am used to seeing that metering bar on the top info window that I find quite handy.

I do see a metering bar if I hit info button, but that's an extra step.

How do I bring it back?
