No, the D5200 has a 24.1 MP sensor, the D7000 has a 16.2 MP sensor.
Apart from that (and the tilt/swivel LCD) the D7000 is much more "camera" than the D5200. And _at the very moment_ even cheaper than the D5200.
My guess for the D7000 successor is around May 2013.
Any chance we might see a swivel LCD implemented in the D7000?
