Micro 4/3 1.4 Teleconverter

A 75mm f/1.8 with a 1.4x teleconverter would be equivalent to a 105mm f/2.5. That's only 1/3 stop faster and 5mm longer than the 35-100mm f/2.8. In other words: pointless.

A 75mm f/1.8 with a 2x teleconverter would be equivalent to a150mm f/3.6. That's 2/3 of a stop slower than Panasonic's forthcoming 150mm f/2.8. Again: pointless.

That Panasonic 150mm f/2.8 *might* be a reasonable lens for such a converter. But its not expected to be out for at least another year. 300m f/5.6 isn't particularly ground breaking, but the current 300mm options aren't overwhelmingly sharp either. A 210mm f/4 (150mm f/2/8 +1.4x) would be (slightly) faster than anything else currently available, but even at that point, I'd much rather have a native μ43 version of the Olympus 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5.
