All the guy wants to know is whether this is a 'feature' of all X-Pro1s or something that affects a relatively minor number and is thus a manufacturing defect. Whether he can live with it or not is completely besides the point — he can make that decision once he has the facts.
So if anyone wants to help him out by performing tests, I'm sure he'd appreciate it. If not, why even reply?
OP: I have an X-E1 on its way which is probably manufactured differently but I'll check nonetheless.
