D5200 - another Jurassic Park dino from Nikon

NEX, Fuji, Panasonic, Olympus - all those cameras use CDAF exclusively, and many of them require an add-on viewfinder.  Not really competition for a DSLR on a practical level.  No doubt some people will take those options, but it won't have much to do with the viewfinder on the D5200 or the fact one has to use manual focus for non-AFS lenses.
