Armistice day

I hope you dont mind giving some critique on this photo. The first thing is the speaker on the stand which is very distracting. Try a different composition and different angles. I also think this image looks like a basic snapshot taken perhaps because one of the flagbearers is someone you know. Also: what is Armisitice Day? What are you trying to say with this image? Perhaps it would be better to post a few more photos, or a collage, so the viewer has a better overview of the event. Include an overview shot, and a few good closeups for detail. Faces also tell a story, so include some closeups of the veterans.
