Safari: MFT good enough?

100-300 is a safari-lens

We did a safari in South Africa this year, the 100-300 was always on one body (G3) and did 90% of the shooting. OIS works well, AF works well and only in the evening we resorted to the 45/1.8 or 20/1.7.

Both pics are handheld, jpeg ooc. RAWs will sharpen well.

If shooting against the sun (pic #2) at 300mm expect heavy fringing.
