Nikon P7700 for newibe

Its time to get a new camera and I came up with 2 brands after reading reviews and professional forums.

1 - Nikon P7700

2 - Canon G15

3 - Canon G12

I need a camera that could produce good images on auto for the beginning.

but will have the option to produce great picture while tweaking the options.

I need it to be able to record HD videos for family and kids

I need it to be slim so I could stick it to a traveler pants pocket.

I need it to be good at taking landscape photos.

i need it to be able to picture a series of photos without waiting too long for the next picture.

P7700 owners please help me to decide if the P7700 is the camera for me.
