First Pics RX-100

I received the camera in the mail yesterday.  I'm an amateur picture taker that knows just enough to want something better than a regular P&S camera.  I haven't learned to use it yet. I've only played with it right out of the box.  I had it in my car today and just happen to snap these.  The sun was just below the horizon so it was getting pretty dark outside, and I can't believe how good the camera did.  I did not have a tripod, and I'm pretty shaky.

This is Pilot Mountain in North Carolina, USA.   They had a controlled burn today. They say it got a little out of hand at one point but not for long. If you are an Andy Griffith Show fan, this is the same place as Mt Pilot.
