Yes, but those are all related to film. I am surprised that they still earn so much from film era products. Good to see that film hasnt been completely washed away, yet.

Possibly their film and chemical division is running on sales for older equipment such as photomicrography or medical imaging? Surely there aren't THAT many people still shooting film. The last person I knew using film was my Aunt Louise and she's over 80 years old - and even she has switched to digital.

Still some - but certainly not so many people shooting film.

But there is still quite a good market for photo-paper/chemicals - many people still like to get wads of prints from their digital cameras, just the same as they did from film.

You dont need chemicals to print from digital cameras, only ink. And Fujifilm is a bit player at best in inkjet paper. I've never seen paper branded Fujifilm. These numbers are almost all from photochemical paper so film is clearly doing better than expected.

I've shot about 22 rolls of films in October and am on pace to beat that this month. I'm out the door in an hour or so with camera in and hand a bunch of film.

I said "photo-paper/chemicals" , not ink-jet.

Nearly all people who order prints from digital cameras/media, either in store or on-line, will get photo-chemical prints, not ink-jet prints.

For the print producers (and hence the customers), photo-chemical prints are still cheaper, faster (in bulk), and a lot more durable.

Ironically, these days many, if not most, mass-market film prints are produced by a hybrid process of first developing the film, then 'digitisation' and computer 'auto-adjustment/enhancement', then laser-exposing back to analogue photo-chemical paper process.
