D3x new: price question (Nikon marketing)

Is there sime sort of rating on the D3X and D800 to know exactly how weather sealed each are compared to each other? Being new to Nikon just curious why so many are convinced the D3X is much better weather sealed wise. And no I have never held a D3X but I owned several 1 series canons. No idea if any of the canon 1 series were better sealed than my current d800. But it seems clear that at least some here are convinced the weather sealing is beter on the D3X just curious how you know this, not saying your wrong as I have no idea which is better sealed. Image quality wise I see zero advantage to a D3x and that I have looked at.
