R2000 applying Gloss Optimizer on the whole sheet

Hello,

I'm printing with Photoshop CS6 on MAx OS 10.8.2 with my new R2000.  No matter the size of the image, the printer applies GO to the entire sheet.  This is the case even if I set the print area in Photoshop to match the image size.

I'd really like to avoid that, because I often put two 8x12 images on a 13x19 sheet (not in the same print run however), and the R2000 is ruining the rest of the sheet by putting GO over the blank part.

Anyone know how I can avoid this?
