A moment of silence for my E-3 shutter

After 45,211 actuations, my trusty E-3's shutter gave up the ghost and died. So this creates the classic question: is it worth it to fix the shutter? I understand that it runs around $200 thru Olympus' repair. I've had great experiences with Olympus repair facility in Hauppauge in the past - they repaired the LCD on this camera and then fixed some damage due to an unfortunate incident when the camera impacted a wet rock when I slipped on it. That's certainly cheaper than a new (or even used) E-5.
But the question is, do repaired shutters last as long as the originals? (40-50K actuations or so?) I'd appreciate hearing the experiences of those of you who've had this repair. I plan on replacing the E-3 with an E-7 (fingers-crossed) or E-5 eventually but even after the replacement, it would be nice to have a back-up body. Is it worth the repair?
