Shooting with adapted or manual lenses you (should) have an aperture ring, so why not try shooting in M mode. I have a GH2 and shoot almost exclusively in M mode.
Shooting in M mode, simply activate Constant Preview from the Custom Menu. It allows you to see exactly what the exposure is while adjusting shutter speed with the Control Wheel. It's actually very simple to use. Getting instant exposure feedback is a real plus!
Hi Jeff,
will try to shoot in M, i thought it makes no difference, as the camera is set to "shoot without lens" and there is no electrical contact, lets see if it makes a difference!
Using Constant Preview is the biggest advantage shooting in M mode. Besides, you're already setting the aperture manually, so there's not much difference in terms of how it works. I find M mode actually easier and quicker than A mode. That could just be me…
