I don't think there is anything wrong with either of the pictures: perhaps, as Erik suggested, there is a bit of a perspective issue in #1 with the camera tilted upwards that is causing the top to "lean in" but the road surface is perfectly horizontal under the bridge so.....
Lightroom can't fix a perspective issue: Photoshop can.
Note to Erik: you can use the ruler tool in PS5 to easily (and very quickly) do a tilt/crop. Just "draw" a line along anything in the photo that is supposed to be horizontal and then click on "Straighten" button up top. I just discovered that one yesterday when working through some online tutorials. Very slick.
