Panaleica 25mm vs Oly 75mm

So I'm sporting the 25mm 1.4 on my e-m5 and I've been reading a lot of review about the new 75mm.
Most reviews claim it to be a very good portrait lens and a very handsome addition to anyone's quiver but what I'm trying to understand is how it differs to the 25mm. Or for that matter why some people are claiming the 25mm and 75mm are both good lenses to have. From my take on it they both perform similar roles.
The 75mm gives a further focal length meaning your DoF shots can focus on further targets?
Is there anything else I'm missing?
