I just bought two for $29 each (free shipping). They appear to be genuine and charge perfectly. As for the Sears deal, this is not the first time I've seen them being sold cheaply there -- except the last time was through the outlet stores...which don't do mail order.
I would never buy batteries or memory cards off eBay. Way too many fakes out there including ones that appear to have real packaging. Yahoo ran an article years back wears workers were taking batteries and cards that did not pass quality checks and selling them so even the real looking stuff was fake.
