NEX-5n and RX100 as documentary video cameras
I realize most people are using these cams for photography, but I recently went on the road with them to shoot behind-the-scenes footage for a National Geographic photographer, and I found these cameras completely capable for light-duty documentary video work. For anything super-intensive I'd probably opt for a Canon 5dmkIII, Nikon D800, or Sony A99, but those cams are much heavier.
I use the NEX-5n with a 50mm f/1.4 as my "portrait" camera, and the RX100 as my "wide" camera. That covers me for 90% of my shooting environments. Anyone have any suggestions or experience with this kind of shooting?
