Best bet I know of is the Olympus 14-54 MkII, but at $600 for the lens plus $200 for the adapter it is not a budget solution.

If price is a consideration your best bet might be to upgrade the body. For example, the GX1 is currently going for around $450. For that you get considerably better overall image quality plus at least a stop better ISO performance, probably more, though you give up the EVF. Or you could look at the G3 which has similar image quality with an EVF.

I have been using a G1 and GH1 with 14-54 for several years. This week I went for the GX1 and am much impressed with the image quality. Panasonic has mad a lot of progress in the 4 years since I got the G1. The kit 14-42 is not bad at all, either. Focusing is very quick and accurate and sharpness is better than you might think from what has been said about it.
