adapt Leica R lenses to Nikon SLR
|
My father left me a few R lenses and I plan to use them on my Nikon D700.
One of my friends told me that for Nikon SLR camera, I need to replace/modify the mount on the rear of the R lens, but only an adapter will do for Canon SLR camera.
I have a stupid question:
rather than modify the R lens rear mount, is it possible to do it this way, first put on a Nikon to Canon adapter onto my D700, then put on a Leica to Canon adapter on the R lens so that the R lens, now of Caanon mount, can be fit to my "Canon mount D700"
Thanks in advance for the advice.
