  1. I live in the "Great White North" and the warranty from Sigma Canada is: 10 years, Canon Canada: 1 year
  2. When dealing with 3rd party lens, make sure that it turns "properly." Canon is clockwise and Tokina, like Nikon, is counter-clockwise. For some people it doesn't make a difference, but for many "klutz" (like me) it's important because I always go in the wrong direction when I want to change my settings and it becomes a source of frustration.
