Talk to me about focal length and Nex

Focal  lengths are focal lengths and crop factors are crop factors - UNLESS you a working with some fixed lens cameras. I have seen their focal lengths listed like this...  24 - 200 (equiv) which indicates their equivalent focal length after the crop factor has been applied.

the E Mount 16 mm lens is a 16 mm lens.
