XZ-1: Recommended Settings Indoors...

Amateur bought due to great price and for indoor pics.    Indoor pics (JPEG) somewhat dark even at 1.8.  Flash just makes it darker.    ISO seems strange --- often at 200 in Auto.    Once ina while a very sharp pics but not often.  Op error?

Suspect key may be higher ISO.

Took outside on one of the few sunny days.  Hurricane !!!     Used Auto.    Took some very sharp pics in Auto.   Only problem is the LCD is impossible to see --- I mean impossible !!! 

What is this camera's sweet spot.  As per specs, pics should be good --- at least as good as G12 but are not.    (Assume Op error.)
