SX40 or SX50 which to buy

I have both, there is a lot of sense in what ViragSharma said, but my timing differs a bit. Since I reached (lucky I am...) an age in which to go asleep is an adventure and to wake up a surprise, I buy the year's model as soon as it shows, and don't sell last year's.

When I used Panasonics and bought an FZ100, I was glad not having sold it's predecessor FZ35.

Now, comparing SX40 x 50 capabilities is some fun, and if sometime I reeeeally need that little  f/stop edge, ol'40 is at hand.
