Your thoughts on A99

Just sold my nikon d7000 and wanting to move to FF. I am not happy with the d600 shooting it in the store. I also have a nex7 that i love - thinking about moving to a99 and getting lea2 adaptor for nex7 - seems lime spec wise the a99 is loaded but really want to know about IQ - i would likely start with the 16-50mm 2.8 -- any thoughts on this move ???
