D3100 or D5100 for us ?

I just ordered a D5100 from Amazon. The prices (IMO) are really good. I ordered one with the 18-55 kit lens and also the 55-300 kit lens equivalent. They also throw in a free 16G Sandisk mem card and $150 off the 55-300 lens. Yeah, they're plastic kit lenses but the reviews are generally pretty positive. As others have said the articulating LCD screen you will come to appreciate when taking shots overhead or down low to the ground. For a first DSLR you could do worse.
