Recently, the Nikon1 has been coming on strong on the Amazon CSC rankings. I'm not sure if this is due to price cuts or Nikon advertising. But the Nikon1 system really almost disappeared from the top 20 CSC months ago, and now it is the strongest brand on the list:

Personally, I find Nikon1 to be a glorified P&S due to limitations on shallow DOF.

There are a lot of strange photographers out there who don't care about limiting DOF on portaits.
