Maybe a Point and Shoot camera would be best

Nikon oils the moving parts in their DSLR cameras.  All of my new Nikon DSLR cameras have had this oil splatter problem.  It goes away after a while but everyone had it including my D4 and D800.

This is just part on owning a Nikon FX DSLR.   Get the supplies, learn how to use them.  No better feeling than having mastered cleaning your sensor.
