I previously used my canon system (5Dmk2, 60D, 7D at various times) to produce fine art prints for sale, up to 30"x20" or 7ft+ panoramics.

I'm now doing the same with my EM5 and whilst customers are happily buying the output from both cameras I am seeing a difference between them.

Its difficult to describe but to my eye the EM5 output has a more natural colour palette and can at times appear sharper but the canon images appear more "Filmic" (don't know how else to describe it). They are somehow smoother and the colours richer than those I get from the Olympus. Its only noriceable when I put the prints side by side and I'm not always sure which I prefer

I guess we shouldn't be surprised, there has long been a debate about whether Canon or Nikon give the best looking images, as indeed there was about Kodak vs Fuji (etc) film image quality.

For me, as I get increasingly decrepit with old age, the weight saving means that I always have the EM5 + lenses with me whereas that wasn't the case with the canon system, so I'm happy to ignore these differences
