OT: Picture and Video (D800E, mostly)

Just to kill the mistaken impression that I am against all picture threads on this forum, I have posted this one. It is excess that I dislike.

This was shot with a D800E and 24-70. Processing was done in Lightroom 4.2. The most notable of the adjustments in Lightroom 4.2 was the use of their Graduated Filter tool to lower the exposure setting on the sky by almost one stop. Also, it was processed with a profile created with a QPcard 203 book.

The photo was taken for a music video I put together for a neighbor who is an inde singer/songwriter in the mariachi tradition. The song is Sin Dinero y Sin Libertad from his album El Grito de Un Imigrate.

This was not done as a professional job; just a favor for a very good neighbor. I have very little experience with video. Most of it consists of stills shot by me with a D800E or a D2x. The B&W headshot of his father, and the shot of a town in Mexico are not mine. Ken Burns techniques were applied to most stills. The video sequence was shot with a D800E mounted on a tripod. It was all put together in Photoshop CS6.
