A walk in the Park with my new Toy

A friend of mine upgraded his 500mm F4 L V1 to the new 600mm F4L v2 and sold me his old 500 mm for a price I could not refuse. So I took it out  last weekned to Brazos Bend State Park to give it a test rrn.

Here are few of the results:

I got rained out Satruday but  I got a pretty good picutre of the storm with my 17-55mm

I then headed out on Sunday and got there just in tome for the Golden Hour. this shot of an Anhinga is my favorite

Got a couple of good ones of a White Ibis

Adn one of a Black Crested Night Heron on the Prowl

And of of course I had to get my obligatory Sunset shot before going home

I had a great time with a fun lens. All comments are appreciated
