By which I mean to say that his point may be simply to distinguish himself from other reviewers and pundits by expressing a definite opinion. It seems to me that Scott Kelby is a very effective marketer, who understands the importance of brand recognition and standing out from the crowd. He takes a calculated risk in doing this, but I would surmise that he chose the recommendation that is most likely to suit the majority of his target market.
