Were they lovers?

I saw the light passing through the glass window of this bus stop, and I thought the effect was quite appealing. More importantly, although I could not see the two people (we can see their feet, one woman + one man), I started to wonder if they were lovers, I guess we will never know, but it is rather intriguing. I opted for a rather strong contrast to enhance the atmosphere and the light/shadow casts.
