Disqualified!

My entry has been disqualified from the Pelicans challenge.

The host emailed with the comment "I can't see if there is any pelican in this photo....so dq"

Heading home after a hard day's fishing

When viewed full size, the silhouettes are quite clearly pelicans.

Has the host disqualified based on the thumbnail, or is he taking a reasonable stance on this?
