All purpose lens - Canon 28-135mm or Tamron 28-75mm

I am looking at getting a good all-purpose lens for my Canon 60d. I am looking for good IQ lens and also good range. I currently have a canon 18-55mm as my only zoom lens (my prime are canon 50mm 1.8 and 85mm 1.8). I am currently looking at these 2 lens for all-purpose: Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 and canon 28-135mm w/USM. Both these lens seems to have good reviews and they are about the same price. I like the Tamron because of the fix aperture and I like the canon because of the range (135mm).

Does anyone on here have experience with both or either of these lens? Please share your feedback.
