Should I Buy A Used D80?

I currently have a Panasonic FZ200.  Although I love this camera, I have been wanting to buy a larger sensor DSLR unit.  I don't need video capabilities on a second camera (the FZ200 is already outstanding), so I'm just looking for a high resolution camera with great low-light IQ for under $600.

I have found a "like new" D80 with a 18-135mm Nikon lens.  The guy wants $425 for it, which sounds reasonable.  Still, it's almost 7 years old and is only a 10 mp camera.

What do you think of the camera and the price?  Are there "gotchas" I should know about this camera in particular?  Should I be concerned that is is only 10 mp?  Any other advice on whether or not this would be a good purchase would be much appreciated.
