X-E1- Battery indicator issue?

Last night I was using the X-E1 to photograph my friend's performance art show but I had a problem. The battery indicator showed it to be 2/3 charged, but after about 30 min of very light shooting, the indicator showed that the battery was dead and the camera shut off. I had to run two city blocks to grab my 5D MkII out of my car!

Yeah, it was my fault for not charging the battery before shooting, but I still think that the indicator was significantly off. Luckily, I have ordered two aftermarket batteries off of Amazon this week, so I shouldn't have this problem again.

Other than that, I am loving the X-E1!
