SD Card + washing machine...FIGHT!

I "lost" my memory card, a Sandisk Extreme UHS-1 16GB model.  For the life of me, I know I have two of these suckers but I couldn't find the second for a shoot the other week.  I had to use an old Eye-fi card instead for the second camera.

1-2 weeks later, it was in the bottom of my washing machine, where coins typically collect.  Plugging it in, voila!  Still works.  What a pleasant surprise!  I've probably laundered about 3 loads of clothes.
