Here you go - quick pass on the first file

It actually looks more like foliage now - without the ringing caused by the bright reflections on the upper leaf surfaces.

RAW conversion in ACR

WB to Daylight (Critical step)

Sharpen at 53 1.3 - you may choose variations to taste based on final output size and media

Apply CA removal tool (optional with 35mm Lens - required for 18mm Lens)

Add back in Black to taste (Critical step)

You could then play with Clarity in ACR, or even Structure in NIK, but it's not required in this case.

This is pretty much congruent with what I get from my own files with LR/ACR.  And, as I've posted previously the LR/ACR processed files will print acceptably by my personal criteria.  I do entertain a fond hope that Adobe will improve their X-trans RAW conversions.  Personally I'm not interested in having a complex and wonderful workflow using other tools. LR is an excellent tool in my view. Same goes for Aperture.
