The only lenses that will autofocus on m4/3 are native m4/3 lenses, and 4/3 lenses via a suitable adapter.

Everything else will be manual focus only, and barring a couple of specific cases manual aperture too. Essentially every camera system uses a different method to communicate with and power the autofocus system, which won't interact with the m4/3 system. This counts for latter day af systems like the Canon EF, af Nikon and so on.

I don't think it really needs said, but lenses that were originally only manual focus will of course still be only manual focus.
