X-trans RAW conversion blog post

From my experience I find David's perspective to be valid with one major CAVEAT. I see the 'problem' on SOME images with foliage not ALL images with foliage and/or high frequency detail.  I do not see this as a general/universal phenomenon.

In my opinion, this leads to the controversy and 'disagreements' about the WC issue.  The other factors that contribute to the confusion are that folks have varying criteria for IQ and workflows are implemented by each of us differently.

In my images I have yet to find one with fatal IQ flaws.  Fatal flaw for me is an image that is not acceptable to me when printed at ~25cm X 30cm. Note: I'm not the world's best pixel peeper nor do I examine my prints with a loupe.
