D600 owners: Can I take 3 ex. bracketed frames @ -3EV/0/+3EV?

Hi,
I do quite a lot HDR with my D300. I've decided to jump on the FX wagon and tend towards the D600 if, and only if, I can continue capturing (in exposure bracketing mode) triplets of shots at: -3EV/0/+3EV and -2EV/0/+2EV.
I've downloaded the D600 manual and, on page 328, under exposure bracketing it's unclear as it's stated: "2-3 frames in steps...1,2, or 3EV". The "2-3 frames" makes me worry as I don't understand when it's 2 and when -3?
Can D600 owners please actually check this and confirm that I can take at least the two triplets as I've defined above?
Thanks
