Sorry to move the question on. I have bought and installed a Canon Pro 9500 printer. I find it works best for me if I allow Photoshop to manage the colors. The problem I have is that the options for paper dont exactly match the Canon paper I have.
I have...
Photo Paper Pro A3
Pro Platinum A4
Paper Plus Glossy 2
My printer my and large has numerous options such as GL1, PT1 and SG1. Now I really have two questions.
First I think that with a rough search of the internet I can best match a profile with a paper. Photo Paper Prp PT1, Pro Platinum PT1, Paper Plus Glossy GL1. Is this correct?
Secondly, should I really be going to Canon and downloading the 'exact profiles' for the paper? Or should I not be bothered? If I should can you provide me with a link?
