I got a third-party battery for my X-pro and have just purchased a similar one for my X100. They seem to perform exactly the same.

I don't buy the cheapest model on ebay - I buy reasonably-priced models from Amazon which are still waaaayyy cheaper than the Fuji version. If you take a bit of care, you won't have a problem.

I'm perfectly happy to pay a fair price for accessories but Fuji charges ridiculous sums...the lens hood for the X100 is an even worse rip-off.
