You have an undiagnosed hardware failure. As has been pointed out repeatedly LR can't corrupt your files because it never writes to them. It just reads the file and then saves any new information in a totally separate sidecar file. Given that it is two drives that would indicate that the problem might be with your computers drive controller or some other hardware that handles reading disk access.
Another possible problem is anti-virus software. There is a post here http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/post/50211423 which describes a problem when running Kapersky AV. The AV encounters issues when scanning certain files and as a result leaves the file handles in an inconsistent state, causing LR to then report the files as corrupted.
