D7000 street photography....which lens?

Why Zeiss? It costs an arm and a leg and doesn't really offer much in return.

If you like MF glass, I would recommend a Mir-24N. It's a 35mm f2 with a certain gorgeous quality to its bokeh, which makes it very valued among videographers.

You can get one for peanuts and like most soviet glass, it's bloody good. probably more inconspicuous in street photography than the shiny Zeiss, too.
