unless you go full frame, I think it's fine to stay with the LA-EA2 using alpha lenses. Yes you lose stabilization, but often times I choose alpha over nex when I want to capture movement, and the shutter speed needs to be fast anyways so stabilization doesn't matter YMMV
if you want a second body you can just get another NEX to be dedicated for the LA-EA2. prices these days for a good NEX are quite cheap. Of course if handling is your main issue then alpha bodies will be better.
